Librarians Association
The Cambodian Library Association supports librarians and advances library development.
Our mission is to strengthen the library profession in Cambodia by supporting librarians, enhancing access to information, fostering a culture of reading and lifelong learning, and building partnerships locally and internationally.
Building Stronger Libraries
The Cambodian Librarians Association (CLA), established in 1996, is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to advancing library development across Cambodia. By fostering a strong community of librarians and information professionals, CLA promotes innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Our work ensures that libraries remain vital centers of learning, cultural preservation, and access to information, aligned with both regional and global standards.
Ready to take the next step?
Since 1996, the Cambodian Librarians Association (CLA) has led initiatives that strengthen libraries, empower librarians, and expand access to knowledge across Cambodia. Through specialized training workshops, national reading campaigns, strategic partnerships, and advocacy for international standards, CLA has consistently advanced the role of libraries as essential hubs for education, culture, and lifelong learning.

"Nothing is pleasanter than exploring a library."
